Abnormal operations such as smoke, strange odor, no image, no sound, excessive sound, damaged casing or elements or cables, penetration of liquidsorforeignmatter,etc.cancauseafireorelectricalshock.   • Page 4 Safety Precautions (continued) WARNING Be careful in handling the light source lamp. The projector uses a high-pressure mercury glass lamp made of glass. The lamp can break with a loud bang, or burn out. When the bulb bursts, it is possible for shards of glass to fly into the lamp housing, and for gas containingmercurytoescapefromtheprojector’sventholes. Please carefully read the section “Lamp”.
