4. Make sure V.SMILE Pocket™ battery compartment is empty. Insert ® VTech 4.8V rechargeable battery into the compartment with the rounded side down, and the flat side of the battery pack facing up as indicated in the diagram. -

RECHARGEABLE BATTERY PACK 1. Use an AC/DC adaptor and we recommend the use of the included VTech ® 10V 1A AC/DC adaptor. 2. Attach the power jack to the back of V.SMILE Pocket™ Recharging Dock and plug the AC/DC adaptor into a wall socket. (It is recommended that an adult attached the AC/DC adaptor to electrical supply.) -

• The use of an adaptor will override the batteries. When the toy is not going to be in use for an extended period of time, unplug the adaptor. • The 2AA Batteries or Vtech 4.8V Rechargeable Battery Pack will not recharge when powered with the AC/DC adaptor. Recharging Dock required for charging. -
