Cause/Solution
Clock not set.
Set date and time.
Charge or replace battery.
Battery temperature is high.
Turn off camera, and allow battery to cool down before
resuming use. After five seconds, this message will
disappear, the monitor will turn off, and the power-on lamp
will flash quickly. After the lamp flashes for three minutes,
the camera will turn off automatically. Pressing the power
switch also turns off the camera.
Inside of the camera has become hot.
Turn off camera, and allow battery to cool down before
resuming use.
Camera cannot focus.
• Refocus.
• Use focus lock.
Camera cannot perform other operations until saving is
complete.
Wait until message clears from display automatically when
saving is complete.
Write-protect switch is in "lock" position.
Slide write-protect switch to "write" position.
Write-protect switch of Eye-Fi card is in "lock" position.
Slide the write-protect switch to "write" position.
Error accessing Eye-Fi card.
• Check that terminals are clean.
• Confirm that Eye-Fi card is correctly inserted.
