    INSTALLING THE HOOD First temporarily mount a 2x4 ledger board 30” (762mm) from the finished countertop. Then, remove the filters from the hood canopy and remove the shields below the power ventilator. Secure the hood through the keyhole slots in the top of the hood and/or the slot hole in the rear of the hood.
