Electrical cable precautions: • A damaged cable must be replaced by an authorised Electrolux service engineer. Damage to the cleaner cable will not be covered by the warranty. • Never pull or lift the vacuum cleaner by the cable.
Insert the hose until the catch clicks to engage (press the catch to engage hose). Attach the extension tube (Z4520) or the telescopic tube (Z4590) to the hose handle and the floor nozzle. Pull out the cable and plug it in. Press the foot pedal to rewind the cable (take hold of the plug to prevent it striking you).
Close the dustbag compartment and continue cleaning. Note: Replace the dustbag even if it is not full (it may be blocked). Also replace after using carpet cleaning powder. Use only Electrolux original dustbags. Dustbag reference number: E53n. REPLACING THE TEXTILE DUSTBAG Remove the hose and open the dustbag cover.

Pull dustbag upward and remove the motor protection fil- ter. Rinse the filter under tap water and allow 24 hours to dry. Put the filter back into the cleaner and close the cover.
20-30 minutes. Clear whatever is causing the blockage and/or replace dirty filters or the full dustbag. Then restart the vacuum cleaner. Check the blockage in the hose by dropping a small coin through it.
Damage to the motor caused by the penetration of water is not covered by the warranty.
