the display will briefly show the
word S S e e r r v v i i c c e e , together with the
number of miles/km until the
service is due.

Adjuster button for:
• To set the time/date
Keep pulling the button briefly
until the desired display
appears. Turn the button to
alter the time/date.

For safety reasons, never open
or close the soft top while the
vehicle is moving. Always fit the
cover on the storage box before
setting off with the soft top

Switch on the ignition and apply
the handbrake firmly before
opening or closing the soft top.
Note: After opening or closing
the soft top, make sure the soft
top warning lamp
dashboard goes out. This
indicates that the soft top is
properly secured.
• To check distance to next
service
Press the button briefly with the
ignition on and the vehicle sta-
tionary.
• To call up auto-check control
displays (in turn)
Press the button twice with the
ignition on.
• To call up driver information
Press the button when one of
the red symbols flashes.
• To activate mileage recorder
display and digital clock
Press the button when the igni-
tion is off.
• To set speed warning 1
Press the button briefly when
the desired speed is indicated
on the speedometer. To clear
the speed limit, press the button
for at least 1 second while the
vehicle is moving.

Releasing soft top
Press the button 1 1 . Take hold of
handle 2 2 , turn it anti-clockwise
as far as it will go and push it
upwards to open the soft top
slightly 3 3 . Then push the handle
back up into the recess.
Opening soft top
Manually-operated soft top:
Get out of car, take hold of front
of soft top 3 3 and lift it back,
in the
guiding it right the way down
into storage box.
Power-operated soft top:
Lift the switch in centre console
4 4 and keep holding until soft
top stops moving.
