Fdd Module; Hdd Module - Acer Aspire 1700 Series Service Manual

FDD Module

1. Disconnect the ribbon cable.
2. Remove the screws as shown here.
3. Remove the FDD bracket away from the floppy drive.

HDD Module

1. Disconnect the HDD power cable and then the IDE coaxial cable.
2. Remove the screws that secure the HDD, and the other side.
3. Remove the bracket from the HDD.
