    Safety Please read this instruction book before using the appliance and retain for future reference. These warnings are provided in the interests of your safe- ty, ensure you understand them fully before using the appliance. Intended use • The appliance is intended for use in the home. It is suitable for the coo- ling, freezing and storing of frozen food, as well as for making ice.

    • Bottles and cans must not be placed in the freezer compartment. They can burst when the contents freeze, high carbonate content drinks can even explode! Never store lemonade, juices, beer, wine, sparkling wine etc. in the freezer compartment.

    Disposal of old Appliances For environmental reasons, refrigeration appliances must be disposed of properly. This applies to your old appliance, and - at the end of its service life - to your new appliance as well. Warning! Before disposing of old appliances make them inoperable. Remove plug from mains, sever the power cable, remove or destroy any snap or latch closures, to prevent small children being trapped inside.

    Interior Accessories Storage Shelves The glass shelf above the fruit and vegetable compartment always remain in position, to ensure fruit and vegetables stay fresh longer. The remaining storage shelves can be adjusted to various heights: Pull the storage shelf forward until it can be tipped up or down and remo- ved.

    Preparation of Ice Cubes Fill the ice cube tray 3/4 full with cold water, place it in the freezer com- partment and leave to freeze. To loosen the frozen cubes, either twist the ice cube tray or hold it under running water for a few seconds.

    Remove all refrigerated and deep-frozen packages as well as ice trays. Remove the mains plug or switch off. Defrost freezer compartment and clean thoroughly (see section: “Cleaning and Care”). Leave the door open to avoid the build up of odours.

    Positioning This appliance should only be installed at a location where the ambient temperature corresponds to the climate classification indicated on the rat- ing plate, which is located on the inside left of the appliance. The following table shows which ambient temperature is correct for each climate classification.

    Inner door reversal Using a screwdriver release bracket (1) by pressing on the internal spring and withdraw it from its seat together with the door; remove plug (2) and fit it in the hole left open on the opposite side; turn the door through 180°, remove the bracket (1) and refit it on the opposite side.

    Instructions for building-in Apply joint the sealing strip as shown in figure. An additional midpoint location bracket may be fitted to the appli- ance (as shown) to assist retention of the housing side wall. Drill the unit using a (10 mm max. penetration. Fix the square fitting (1) to the appli- ance.

Fasten the appliance with 4 screws provided in the kit included with the appliance. Snap ventilation grille (C) and hinge cover (D) into position. Apply covers (B) into the relevant holes.
  • Page 22 Place guide (A) on the inside part of the furniture door, in the upper and lower positions as shown in the fig- ure and mark the position of external holes. Having drilled the holes, fix the guide with the screws supplied. PR166 Fix cover (C) on guide (A) until it clips into place.
