Congratulations and thank you for purchasing the Lotus™ by American DJ®. For your
convenience the Lotus™ has been lamped and tested for quality and is ready to be used.
There is no assembly required. Please read the following instructions before installing or
operating your new Lotus™.
Operating Instructions:
This unit is ready to be hung or set on a flat surface. The unit is sound activated and will react to the sound of music via
its internal microphone. Adjust the sensitivity knob on the back of the unit to react to the music level. Be sure not to
obstruct the cooling vents. Keep in a well ventilated area. For best results a fog machine or special effects smoke must
be used in order to see the beams of light.
Caution! Never open this unit when in use. Always disconnect the main power before attempting to replace the lamp.
Remember always to replace with the same type lamp and fuse.
Lamp Replacement: Remove the two thumb screws on trap door located on top of the fixture. Remove and replace the
lamp. Replace the cover.

This fixture is fitted with halogen
lamps which are highly suscepti-
ble to damage if improperly
handled. Never touch lamp with
bare fingers as the oil from your
hands will shorten lamp life. Also,
never move fixture until lamp
has had ample time to cool.
Remember, lamps are not cov-
ered under warranty conditions.
