    Installing Smart Array Multipath software CAUTION: Before installing Smart Array Multipath software, update the HBA and MSA500 G2 controller drivers. To install the Smart Array Multipath software, complete the following steps: NOTE: You can install this software prior to attaching the hardware. Ensure that only a single path is connected to the storage devices.

    Using Cluster Administrator, perform the following tasks: Restore failback for all groups containing resources, as needed. Redistribute cluster, resources as desired. Post-installation hardware setup for Microsoft To prepare for software operation, complete the following steps: Reconnect the SCSI cable from the redundant HBA to the MSA500 G2 storage system. Cycle the server power.
