Cabinet Finish Care
THIEL wood cabinets possess a high qualiiy lacquer finish
ihat is both beautiful and durable. Howev€r, any wood finish
can be damaged by excessive moisture, dryness, ordirect
sunlight. W}len cleaning your speakers, avoid using oils.
waxes, orpolishes that contain silicone, such as Pledge or
Johnson's. We recommend using Endust.Ifyou own a gloss
blalk latque' cabiner. pleaie reier ro rhe rnnrucrion\
included with its special cabinet care kit.
The grilles can be cleaned ofdust by using an upholstery
altachment ofa vacuum cleaner. To prevent damage to the
tweeter. take care not to push the cloth in toward the top of
the grille.

Grille
The grille on the CSl.2 is designed as an inlegral part of
the system ro reduce unwanted diffraction effects. Therefore.
ilmust remain in place for proper operation. Ifyou wish io
temporarily remove il first loosen the two screws that secure
the trim strip to the front of the speaker. Pull the bottom of
the grille frame away from the speaker an inch or lwo and
then lift the grille upward 1o remove it. When replacing the
grille, first push the top down onto the bafile and then push
the bottom back in towards rhe speaker.
LIMITED WARRANTY
THIEL warants every THIEL model CSl.2 system against defecis in materials and workmanship to lhe oricinal owner
fo. a period of ten years f.om the date of purchase. THIEL will, al no charge, replace any defective part and make any
repai$ necessary to ensure its proper performance when the defective unii is retumed to us postpaid.
This waranty does not coverdamage due to accidentorabuse and is void ifthe unit has been tampered with.
This waranty is automatic and no registration is required. This wananty gives you specific legal nghN. You may also
have otherrights which are pariicularto your state.
