"Symphonique Strings" Wave Expansion Board.
The SRX-04 "Symphonique Strings" Wave Expansion Board
dedicates its entire memory to reproducing the most
expressive stereo-sampled string sounds on the planet.
Sampled with rich natural ambience, these string sounds can
be used across a complete spectrum of genres ranging from
classical to rock, pop, dance, film scoring and more.
Waveforms include full string sections as well as violin,
viola, cello, and contrabass sections. Each section contains
Waves representing different playing techniques and
rhythms, such as tremolo, pizzicato, marcato, spiccato, and
staccato—giving you lots of expressive possibilities.
The patches on the SRX-04 board are carefully selected and
optimized to bring out the expressiveness of the high-quality
waveforms. Moreover, settings for effects, sound parameters,
and controller assignments have been pre-programmed to
provide musicians with a rich tonal palette and unrivaled
realism.

200 and the RD series with SRX slots/MC-909/VR-760/G-70 are
slightly different.)

* The parameter settings for patches are optimized for the Fantom series,
XV series, JUNO-G, MX-200, RD series with SRX slots, MC-909,
VR-760, and G-70 models, so there are some minor differences in the
sounds each instrument produces.

    INSTALLING THE WAVE EXPANSION BOARD * Turn off your instrument. 1. Remove the cover located on the top (or rear) of your instrument. 2. Insert the Wave Expansion Board connector into a connector for an SRX Series slot, while simultaneously inserting the board holders into the holes in the Wave Expansion Board.
