• During powered shower rinsing, the spin plate rotates and both of water
supply and draining proceed at the same.
• When the powered shower rinsing function is selected and you adjust the
number of rinsing cycles, the powered shower rinsing function is applied to
all the rinsing cycles selected.
Soak Wash
• Soak wash can be selected when you press the WASH button.
• Soak wash is not selected for Wool course.
• For effective washing, soak wash is applied automatically for Aged Dirt
course.
• When soak wash is selected, the washing machine repeats 1-minute
washing and 4-miniute pausing, and then do the main washing.
Adding Detergent and Softener
• The washing machine senses the amount of laundry and indicates the water
level and amount of detergent. Then, it starts to supply water immediately.
• It is possible to open the detergent box and add detergent during water
supply. However it is better to press the Start/Hold button to stop water
supply and add detergent. Close the lid and press the Start/Hold button
again. This way is much more convenient.
Automatic Sensing Function
• At every course (except Wool course and spin basket cleaning course), the
amount of laundry is automatically sensed and the appropriate water level,
washing time, number of rinsing cycles, and spinning time are automatically
selected for automatic washing.
• When a course is selected and the Start/Hold button is pressed after the
power is turned on, the spin plate starts rotating without water. This action
senses how much laundry is in the spin basket and is not a machine
problem. After this sensing process, water is supplied automatically.
HOW TO DO SILENT COURSE?
1. Add the laundry in and press the POWER button.
2. Press the GENERAL COURSE button once to select
SILENT COURSE.
3. Press the START/HOLD button.
Add the detergent and softener according to water level, and then close
the lid.
• Possible to apply powered shower rinsing by pressing the SUPER RINSE
button during running.
HOW TO DO HEAVY COURSE?
(Blue jeans, thick clothes or dirty laundry)
1. Add the laundry in and press the POWER button.
2. Press the GENERAL COURSE button twice to select
HEAVY COURSE.
3. Press the START/HOLD button.
Add the detergent and softener according to water level, and then close
the lid.
• Soaking is automatically applied for easier removal of aged dirt.
Example) When 5-minute is selected at Aged Dirt course, soaking is
applied and then washing proceeds for 5 minutes.
• The spin plate and spin basket rotate in opposite directions to do power
washing.
• Possible to apply powered shower rinsing by pressing the SUPER RINSE
button during running.
• The spin plate rotates without water to detect laundry amount and
appropriate water level and detergent amount are indicated at
every course. (Except Wool and Spin basket cleaning courses)
• Possible to control water temperature for washing and rinsing
manually with the WASH TEMP/RINSE TEMP buttons at every
course. (However, only cold water is possible for Wool course.)
HOW TO DO SPEEDY COURSE?
(When you want to wash the frequently used towels or less dirty laundry in a short period of
time.)
1. Add the laundry in and press the POWER button.
2. Press the GENERAL COURSE button three times to select
SPEEDY COURSE.
3. Press the START/HOLD button.
Add the detergent and softener according to water level, and then close
the lid.
• Because only the spin plate rotates, it conserves energy.
• However, if there are much laundry, the spin basket is also rotated for
effective washing.
• Possible to apply powered shower rinsing by pressing the SUPER RINSE
button during running.
HOW TO DO BLANKET COURSE?
(Big volume laundry like blanket and bed cover sheets)
1. Add the laundry in and press the POWER button.
• Fold those big volume laundry (blanket and bed cover sheets) in the
following way before adding into the spin basket.
• Never wash the electric blanket and carpets.
• Get a laundry net for those light and big volume laundry (eg. cashmeres)
because they might rise on the water and get damaged.
2. Press the SPECIAL COURSE button once to select
BLANKET COURSE.
3. Press the START/HOLD button.
Add the detergent and softener according to water
level, and then close the lid.
