You can adjust the earpiece volume during a call using
the volume keys on the side of your phone. Briefly press
the up volume key to increase the voice volume or the
down volume key to decrease the voice volume.
From Standby mode you can quickly adjust the volume of the
ringer by pressing the volume keys on the side of the phone.
Briefly press the up volume key to increase the ringer volume
or the down volume key to decrease the ringer volume. You
can also change the settings for your phone's ring volume
from the Main menu (see "Ringer options" on page 58).
When the phone is open and ringing, press
silence the ringer. When the phone is closed and ringing,
press one of the volume keys to quickly silence the
ringer.
You can also set the ringer to remain off. From Standby mode,
press the down volume key until "Ring Volume Off" is
displayed, or use the Main menu (see "Ringer type setting for
voice calls" on page 58).
