Using the Web User Interface

The BMC firmware features an embedded web server, enabling users to
connect to the BMC using an Internet browser (Windows Internet Explorer)
without needing to install KVM and virtual storage software on a remote
console.
Web-based GUI is supported on the following browsers:
Microsoft Windows:
Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8, 9
Mozilla Firefox 7, 8, 9
Google Chrome 3.0 (optional)
Linux:
Mozilla Firefox 7, 8, 9
Mac OS*:
Safari V5.X
* Default Java Machine — Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is not yet supported.
Open Java Development Kit (OpenJDK) is supported and recommended. For more
information, see openjdk.java.net.
