After installation, place the handset in the base to charge for 15 hours before use. You can keep the batteries charged by returning the handset to the base after each use. When batteries are fully depleted, a recharge takes about 10 hours.Average talk time on a fully charged battery is about six hours depending on environmental conditions, standby time is approximately four days.
