  • Page 31 Sub 112 SUBWOOFER The DYNACORD Sub 112 is a vented, direct-radiating cabinet equipped with a high-power DYNACORD DND12S400 neodymium woofer boasting power handling of 400 W (rated) and 1600 W (peak). The conical vent system results in less flow loss and lower air noise than conventional vented designs.
  • Page 32 Sub 115 and Sub 118 SUBWOOFER The Sub 115 is a vented direct-radiating enclosure with an Electro-Voice EVS 15S woofer, which offers high power handling. As a refl ex system the High-Speed Laminar Vent (HSLV) is used. Compared to con- ventional bass reflex vents, airflow loss and air noise are considerably reduced by HSLV technology.
  • Page 33 Like almost all the loudspeakers of the D-Lite series, the 15“ / 18“ subwoofers, too, are reliably protected against thermal overload by the fully electronic Voice Coil Tracking Protection system and halogen protectors respectively. Extremely powerful amplifiers can therefore be used to achieve the widest possible dynamic range, without any thermal overloading of the voice coils.
