More on AllerAir UV Technology
How Does a Germicidal UV Lamp Work?
Germicidal ultraviolet lamps are used in both water and air
purification. These lamps emit UV energy which breaks down
organic matter and destroys the DNA of biological contaminants.
The process is effective, cost-efficient and requires little
maintenance.
Where is the Lamp and How Long Does it Last?
The UV lamp is located inside the top section
of the unit above the filters. The average life
span of a UV bulb is 10000 hours.
