Using KidZone

Like you, your kids can't get enough of myTouch 4G Slide. Switch to KidZone mode
and prevent your kids from downloading inappropriate apps or from accidentally
using the call and messaging functions of myTouch 4G Slide. You can also choose
which apps are accessible on the KidZone screen.
1. From the Home screen, tap
If you have not set up a screen unlock pattern, PIN, or password, you will be asked
to do so.
2. While on the KidZone screen, you can:
§ Tap a shortcut to open the related app.
§ Tap Emergency call to make one.
§ Add or remove app shortcuts on the KidZone screen. Press
Settings, draw or enter your screen unlock pattern, PIN, or password, and
then tap Shortcuts on homescreen.
3. To exit from KidZone, tap Unlock. You will be asked to draw or enter your
screen unlock pattern, PIN, or password before you can exit from KidZone.

Starting a video chat

T-Mobile Video Chat lets your start a video chat or share live videos with Qik users
anywhere in the world.
§ You need to add a Video Chat account first to start a video chat. From the Home
screen, press
and tap Settings > Accounts & sync > Add account > Video Chat.
§ Friends you want to video chat or share live videos with must be signed in to Qik.
1. From the Home screen, tap
lists all your contacts and online contacts are indicated by this icon:
2. Tap an online contact to start the video chat.
3. On the video chat screen, you can:
§ Tap
to mute your microphone.
§ Tap
to switch to the main camera.
4. To end the video chat, tap End chat.
