    III. Oil and Fuel Specifications Table 1. Recommended Oil TecumsehPower Recommended Oil Usage To operate engine you need to use a clean, high quality, Straight Grade detergent oil. For recommended engine oil, see Table 1. TecumsehPower Part No. In addition, you need to be sure the oil sump contains the 730225A or SAE 30W correct amount of oil to operate properly.

  • Page 25 ® Climate Guard Anti-Icing Air Cleaners Some engines may be equipped with a Climate Guard anti-icing air cleaner that prevents ice from forming in the carburetor when the engine is run at temperatures below 32°F (0°C). Engines equipped with the baffle will have an opening which draws warm air from the muffler into the air cleaner housing.
