How traffic information is reflected in navigation

If <Bypass Traffic> is set to <Manual>
(☞ page 50), [Reroute] appears on the screen when
the traffic service informs the System of traffic accidents
or congestion ahead on your route.
Recalculates the route
Shows the detail of the alert
Appears when you approach a traffic
event on your route.
• The rerouting may be canceled while you are
checking due to a change of traffic conditions. The
rerouting is also canceled if you do not confirm the
rerouting in one minute.
If <Bypass Traffic> is set to <Auto>, the System
automatically calculates a new route when the traffic
service informs the System of an obstacle on your route.
If <Bypass Traffic> is set to <Off>, the System
does not take traffic information into account when
calculating a route.
To confirm detailed information of a
traffic icon on a map

Place the cursor on the traffic icon.
• If there are several POIs on the selected position,
select one from the list.
– The list appears only when <POI Icon> is set
to <On>. (☞ page 51)
