The WiseUpdate Process

Phase 1:
When you first use WiseUpdate, you:
1. Develop the installation
2. Configure WiseUpdate and
specify:
Location of updates on the Web
server
Current version of the
application
Phase 2:
The end user:
1. Obtains your application through normal distribution channels
2. Installs your application:
WiseUpdate Client is copied to the application directory
A shortcut to WiseUpdate client is placed on the destination computer
Phase 3:
When you update your application to
a new version, you:
1. Develop an upgrade or patch
2. Configure WiseUpdate and
specify:
