    Installing Faronics Core (Core Console, Core Database and Core Server) • Accessing Core Console If the prerequisites for Faronics Core have not been met, the installer will download and install them. When Core Console is run for the first time, the Configuration Wizard is launched automatically.

When Core Console is run for the first time, the following screen is displayed. Click Next to continue. 2. Create or import a security certificate. For this example, we have selected Generate a new certificate.

    Core Server — There can be multiple server nodes. The management of workstations, processing of tasks and communication between Core Console and workstations is done by the Core Server. There is one Core Server node for each connection between Core Console and a Core Server.
