3.1.2 Creating an Object

1 In Novell iManager, click the Roles and Tasks button
2 Click eDirectory Administration > Create Object.
3 Select an object from the list of available object classes, then click OK.
4 Specify the information requested, then click OK.
5 Click OK.

3.1.3 Modifying an Object's Properties

1 In Novell iManager, click the Roles and Tasks button
2 Click eDirectory Administration > Modify Object.
3 Specify the name and context of the object or objects you want to modify, then click OK.
4 Edit the property pages you want.
5 Click OK.

3.1.4 Copying Objects

This option lets you create a new object with the same attribute values as an existing object, or copy
attribute values from one object to another.
1 In Novell iManager, click the Roles and Tasks button
2 Click eDirectory Administration > Copy Object.
3 In the Object to Copy From field, specify the name and context of the object you want to copy.
4 Select one of the following options:
5 If you want to copy access control list (ACL) rights to the object you are creating/modifying,

3.1.5 Moving Objects

2 Click eDirectory Administration > Move Object.
