Adding photos and video clips
When you tap
Insert
picture/video, you can take a photo or video
clip and insert it directly in your multimedia message.
Command Function
Starts the camera to let you take a photo
Tap
Starts the video camera to let you take a video clip
Tap
Quits the selection and takes you back to the MMS
Tap
message
Adding an audio clip
You can add one audio clip per slide in your multimedia message.
To add an audio clip

Tap insert audio.

Select an audio file.
When you have selected an audio file, you can:
Tap
to play the audio clip.
Tap
to pause playback.
Tap
to stop playback.
Select
Tap
to insert it into your message.
Tap
to quit the selection and return to your message.
To record a new audio clip and add it to your message, tap
. The Record pop-up window then opens. Tap
to start recording, and
listen to the recorded audio clip, then tap Add. The new audio
clip is then inserted into your message.

When composing a multimedia message, you can also do the
following:

To view a message

In the conversation list, tap the message.
When viewing the message:
If the message contains more than one slide, use the playback
controls

a list of files included in the message.

Blocking a phone number
If you do not want to receive multimedia messages from a
particular sender, you can add the sender's phone number to the
MMS Blacklist.
To block a phone number

When you receive a new multimedia message, open and view
the message.

To avoid receiving multimedia messages from this sender
next time, tap

To unblock a phone number and allow the sender to send you
MMS messages, remove the number from the Blacklist. Tap
and hold the phone number in the Blacklist then tap
Changing MMS settings
When you start your phone for the first time, it automatically
fetches your wireless service provider's MMS settings. If you
accidentally lose the preset settings, or if you want to add
another wireless service provider, you can configure the settings
while composing a multimedia message.
To configure MMS settings

boxes according to your needs.

Servers
server settings.

If there are no settings, tap
information, which you can get from your other wireless
service provider:
Server name. A descriptive name, such as your wireless
service provider name.
Gateway. Location of the MMS server, which is usually in the
form of an IP address.
Port number. HTTP port number used for connecting to the
MMS server and for file transfer.
Server address. URL address of the server where multimedia
messages are stored.
Connect via. Select the connection that your phone uses for
multimedia messages
Send limit. Select the maximum multimedia message size
allowed by your wireless service provider.
WAP Version. Select either WAP 1.2 or WAP 2.0, depending
on which one is being used by your other wireless service
provider.
You can choose to download multimedia messages in both
your home and roaming network, keep track of your
multimedia messages, request a delivery or read receipt
to see
report, set the resolution for images that you send, and more.
