    Introduction Congratulations and thank you for purchasing Belkin’s SportCommand. Ideal for use during outdoor sports, this flexible armband-remote uses a touch-sensitive ElekTex® design to keep your iPod functional, dry, and secure—even during strenuous activity. SportCommand uses wireless radio-frequency (RF) technology to work at a distance of up to 50 feet.

    Setup Instructions STEP 1 - SportCommand Receiver Setup Power on your iPod. Then, plug the SportCommand Receiver into the bottom of the iPod (Fig. 1). The Receiver powers on automatically. Once the unit is on, we recommend engaging the hold switch on the iPod to prevent accidental button presses.

    Operating Instructions Connect any pair of headphones or speakers to the iPod via the 3.5mm headphone port. Place the iPod and Receiver into your pocket or backpack, using a case for extra protection. You can also keep your iPod stationary with a stereo or boom box and remotely control up to 50 feet.
  • Page 6 Operating Instructions Automatic Sleep Mode If there is no key press for 30 seconds, the Transmitter will automatically go into sleep mode. The Transmitter will wake up with the next key press but it will not transmit the signal to the Receiver. The Transmitter will function for the subsequent key press. Note: Shuffle and repeat controls are not compatible with iPod 3G models (10GB, 15GB, 20GB, 30GB, 40GB).

    Belkin Corporation reserves the right to review the damaged Belkin product. All costs of shipping the Belkin product to Belkin Corporation for inspection shall be borne solely by the purchaser. If Belkin determines, in its sole discretion, that it is impractical to ship the damaged equipment to Belkin Corporation, Belkin may designate, in its sole discretion, an equipment repair facility to inspect and estimate the cost to repair such equipment.
