How to perform an on-demand scan

Clean infection automatically: The scanner cleans the virus and
the infected file.

Delete infection automatically: The scanner deletes the virus and
the infected file.
Select any of the check boxes to define what the scanner displays during

the scan, which files are scanned, and if you want to record the scanning
activity in a log file.
When you have made your selections, tap Done to return to the

VirusScan Home screen.
You can start an On-Demand scan using either of the following actions:

Tap Scan in the VirusScan Home screen.

Tap the Menu and select Scan System.
When the On-Demand Scan is complete, you can view the results in the

Scan Complete screen.
M
Total scanned: Total number of files scanned.
M
Viruses found: Number of viruses found.
M
Trojans found: Number of trojans found.
M
A list of the names of suspicious files found.
If you want to view information on any files listed, tap Details. The

Details screen displays the application in which the file was created, the
type of infection, what action has been taken (i.e.: deleted), and the name
(identifier) of the suspicious code. Tap OK to return to the Scan
Complete screen.
TIP
Details does not display on the Scan Complete screen if there are
no suspicious files.
Tap Done to close the Scan Complete screen.
