shorting strap

unplug electrodes
and reset
be sure reference
electrode is filled
remove bubble by
redipping electrode
put electrodes
in solution

shorting strap

re-dipping electrode
soak electrode in
cadmium standard
replace electrode
use recommended ISA
ground meter or
stirrer
allow solutions to come
to room temperature
before measurement
