2-7-1 Activating the Parental
Control feature (V-Chip)
(1) Press the (MENU) button on the Panel or
on the Remote Control to enter the Main
Menu and press the (
Remote Control or (-VOL+) on the panel
to select the "ENHANCE" settings.
(2) Press the (OK) button to enter "EN-
HANCE" settings.
(3) Press the ( ) button on the Remote
Control or (-PROG+) on the panel to
select the "V-CHIP" option.
(4) Key in four (4) zeros "0000" into the blank
field to enter the Parental Control Setting.
Another OSD will appear.
(5) To exit the OSD menu, press "MENU"
again.
Note: The default password is "0000"

2-7-2 MPAA Settings
U.S. movie ratings are for
movies rated according to
the Motion Picture Associa-
tion of America (MPAA)
(1) Press the ( ) button on the Remote
Control or (-PROG+) on the panel to
select the "STATUS" option.
(2) Press the ( ) button on the Remote
Control or (-VOL+) on the panel to switch
"STATUS" on or off.
(3) Press the ( ) button on the Remote
Control or (-PROG+) on the panel to se-
lect "MPAA" and then press (OK) to enter
"MPAA" setting. A list of rating systems
will appear.
(4) Press the ( ) button on the Remote
Control or (-PROG+) on the panel to
navigate the rating list.
(5) Press the ( ) button on the Remote
Control or (-VOL+) on the panel to set
"BOLCKING".
(6) If MAPP PG 13 field is set to Block, any
motion picture rated PG 13 will not be
accessed.
