Using the music player

To adjust the volume of a track
1 When playing a track, tap the screen to show the player controls.
2 In the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, tap
You can also adjust the volume using the volume key.
To explore related audio content
1 From the Home screen, tap Mediascape.
If the music home screen is not shown, tap Music

In the upper part of the screen, tap More.

4 Flick left or right to view items by category.
5 Browse to an artist, an album or a track.

7 Flick to PlayNow™ arena to explore the PlayNow™ service or other available online
services, to YouTube™ to explore content related to the selected item on
YouTube™, or to Memory card to view related content on the memory card.
To view the music player controls
• In the music player, tap the screen.
To change tracks
• In the music player, tap
To pause a track
• In the music player, tap
To fast forward and rewind music
• Drag the progress indicator marker right or left.
To view a current play queue
• In the music player, tap the album art when the controls are visible.
To minimise the music player
1 Press to change screen, or press
2 Browse media files, or use other applications while the music player is playing in the
background.
To return to the music player when used in the background
1 Drag the status bar downwards to open the Notification panel.
2 Tap the track title to open the music player.
To mark a track as favourite
1 In the music player, tap the screen if controls do not appear.
2 In the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, tap
Favourites music category when browsing your library.
To remove a track from Favourites
1 In the music player, tap the screen if controls do not appear.
2 In the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, tap
Favourites music category.
To share a track
1 In the music player, tap the screen if controls do not appear.
2 In the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, tap
3 Select one of the available transfer methods.
