SYSTEM SETUP MENU:

Press the SETUP button to enter the menu, select SYSTEM SETUP using the Navigation (√,®)
buttons, then press the Navigation (†) button to select it. Select/change the Setup option as
described on page 15.

PAL: Select when using a PAL TV.
NTSC: Select when using a NTSC TV.
IMPORTANT: In the USA, the standard
is NTSC.

4:3 PS, Pan Scan: Video material formatted in
the Pan Scan style is played back in that style
(the left and right edges are cut off).
4:3 LB, Letterbox: Wide-screen images are
shown on the screen with a black band at
the top or bottom.
16:9, Wide: Select when the unit is connected to
a wide-screen TV.

When this option is set to ON, the screen
saver will come on when the unit stops for
approximately three minutes.
When this option is OFF, the screen saver
will not come on.

To change the password, press the Navigation
(®) button to enter the password input section.
Enter the default password ("1234") using the
Number buttons if this is the first time entering the
password, then press the OK button to confirm.
When the correct password is entered, the Lock
icon will be opened.
Press the Navigation (®) button again and enter
the new password using the Number buttons and
then press the OK button to confirm; the Lock icon
will be locked again and the password will
be changed.
NOTE: If the old password is incorrect, the Lock
icon will not be opened.
