    Electrical requirements Check that the voltage on the rating plate of your clock radio corresponds with your house electricity supply which must be A.C. (Alternating current). If the socket outlets in your home are not suitable for the plug supplied with this appliance the plug should be removed and the appropriate one fitted.

    Telephone requirements You can connect your Morphy Richards Telephone Clock Radio to the Public Telephone Switch Network (PTSN) and compatible PBXs. It is not suitable for use as an extension to a payphone and for connection to a shared service line or a 1 + 1 carrier system.

    Place the phone on the base unit. Insert the other end of the line cord into a standard BT phone socket. If the jack does not fit your phone socket, contact BT for help. Set up the clock on the base unit as described under switching on and setting the clock. Your Telephone alarm clock is then ready for use.

    Switching on and setting the clock time Before any alarm functions can be used, you must set the clock to the correct time. 1 Place the unit on a flat surface. Plug the mains plug into the wall socket and switch on the wall socket. 2 The LED clock display will flash.

    Setting the alarm time Press and hold the ALARM button and simultaneously press the HOUR or MINUTE button to set the display to the desired alarm time. Release the ALARM button when the desired alarm time is set. Wake up to the radio alarm Follow steps 1-4 of ‘radio operation’...

    To stop the alarm (radio or buzzer) The alarm is programmed to run for 1 hour 59 minutes. To stop the alarm, press the ALARM button. The alarm will stop and will operate again 24 hours later. To stop the alarm temporarily, press the SNOOZE button. The alarm will sound again 9 minutes later.

    Maintenance Do not expose your telephone clock radio to extremes of temperature. The product should be kept in a warm environment free from dust and damp.
