Tips: Freeing and conserving storage space

Try to maintain at least 400 KB of available application storage on your BlackBerry® device. If you find that your device processes are unusually
slow, try freeing storage space by deleting files that you don't need. Changing options for email messages, calendar entries, and media files
might help you conserve storage space.

Check how much free storage space you have
Delete unneeded files

Stop storing sent messages on your device
Receive only the first section of long email messages, and choose
whether to download more

Reduce the size of pictures you take
Research In Motion recommends that you regularly create and save a backup file on your computer, especially before you update any software.
Maintaining an up-to-date backup file on your computer might allow you to recover device data if your device is lost, stolen, or corrupted by
