How do I register my device with the
network?
When you select a different network or load new
programs, your BlackBerry® device should register
with the network automatically. To register your
device manually, in the device options, click Advanced
Options. Click Host Routing Table. Click the
trackwheel. Click Register Now.
How do I set the wireless network
connection speed for my device?
In the device options, click Network. Perform one of
the following actions:
• To connect to the wireless network at whatever
network speed is available, set the Network Mode
field to 3G&2G.
• To connect to the wireless network at a specific
network connection speed, set the Network Mode
field to 2G or 3G.
Note:
Depending on your service provider, you might not be
able to set the Network Mode field. Contact your
service provider for more information.
Why can't I connect to a wireless
network?
Verify that you have turned on your device's wireless
radio. In the Home screen, click Turn Wireless On.
If your device is set to connect at 3G only or 2G only,
and you connect to a network that does not support
your selected speed, your device appears to be outside
a wireless coverage area. Set the Network Mode field
to 3G&2G to connect to a wireless network using any
connection speed available.
