Address book
You can store addresses as your favourite destinations in the Address book. In
this menu you can delete these destinations as well. The addresses you have set
can be used for navigation at any time.
It is also possible to export your address book to SD-card and import an address book from
SD-card. This option gives you the possibility to easily transfer an address book to other
PN1000 / PN2050 / PN3000 devices. When importing or exporting the address book your have
to make sure that an SD-card is inserted into the PND's SD-card slot.
To export the address book to SD-card, go to Main Menu > Settings > Address
book and press the Export button. A confirmation message pops up as soon as
the export is finished.
To import an address book from SD-card, go to the Main Menu > Settings >
Address book and press the Import (Replace) button. When an exported address
book is available on the SD-card, it will replace the existing address book in the
PND. The PND will ask for confirmation before replacing the existing address
book.
