    Features That Can Be Set Using the Multi Selector Using the Self-timer The camera is equipped with a ten-second and two-second timer for self-portraits. This feature is useful for reducing the effects of camera shake that occurs when pressing the shutter-release button. When using the self-timer, use of a tripod is recommended.

    Face Detection When the camera is pointed at a human face in the shooting modes listed below, the camera automatically detects the face and focuses on it.
