4622 T1 Router Series

Connect The Router

First.
Locate all items in your box that you need for the installation. You'll also need a computer on Ethernet.

Connect the Router.

Configure The Router

2 twisted pair cables
For T1 connection and
10 BaseT Ethernet.
Ethernet
Connect the Ethernet cable.
Connect a standard Ethernet cable
between a 10/100 Ethernet port on
the router and the Ethernet port on
your Windows PC or Macintosh, or
with your existing LAN environment.

Launch your Telnet application
Follow the instruction on the next page to run Telnet and complete your
Netopia Router's Easy Setup procedure.
Console cable
You may need this later,
but not now.
2 T1 Line
Connect the WAN port to the wall jack.
Connect one twisted pair cable between
the WAN port on the router and the T1 line jack.
Do NOT connect the router's WAN
port to an ordinary telephone line.

3 Power
Connect the Power adapter.
Connect the mini-DIN8 connector
from the power adapter to the power
port. Plug the other end into an
electrical outlet.
