Setting the Self-Timer

The distances mentioned above represent the distances from the
camera's lens surface to the subject.
Users can change the flash setting to all flash modes (OFF/ON/AUTO/
Red-Eye Reduction) by pressing Flash button.
Enter Macro mode won't change current flash mode setting.
When you use the self-timer function, the subject is recorded about 2 or
10 seconds upon your setting after you press the shutter button.
1. Set Mode dial to Auto (
2. Press the Self-Timer button (
Self-Timer Options:
OFF

Turns self-timer off.

2 SEC.(Press Self-Timer one time)
Indicates a countdown of two seconds.

10 SEC.
Indicates a countdown of ten seconds.
3. Be sure that the
monitor, then press Shutter button.
4. The Self-Timer lamp will flash in red if capturing with flashlight. If cap-
turing without flashlight, the lamp will flash in green.
