• Make sure that track names are preceded by
track numbers.
• Verify that the application you use to rip CDs is
set to create file names that begin with the track
number plus the track name when ripping a CD.
When I connect my phone to my computer with a
USB cable, my computer doesn't recognize the
phone's 1 GB removable memory card, even though
the card was formatted by the phone. Why doesn't
the computer recognize the card?
Your computer may be unable to recognize a 1 GB
removable memory card that was formatted by the
phone.
When this happens, the computer will prompt Do you want to
reformat?. Click on Yes and continue.
Note: When you connect your phone to a computer with
a USB cable, the phone can't access any files on the
removable memory card.

Why are ringtones listed under Songs in my music
player?
Ringtones have the same file format as all other music
played by the MP3 music player.
Why can't I see all my songs in different categories
(artist, album, genre)?
When you load a song, information about the artist,
album, and genre is loaded into your music player's
Artists, Albums, and Genres folders. If this information is not
available, the song loads into those folders as Unknown.
When you search in those folders for a song without this
information, that song will not display. However, all songs
are listed in the Songs folder.
Why are my songs listed in a different order in
Albums on my MP3 music player than they are on the
album they came from?
If songs don't include track numbers before track names,
then they are listed in alphabetical order by track name.
