Dishwashers
There is a lot to say about
something so quiet.
Quietness
Bosch dishwashers constantly earn top rankings from leading consumer publications
and test labs worldwide. Of course, you may not have heard that. Or anything at all.
Buried behind three layers of sound-muffl ing coated metal and cotton-fi ber insulation,
our suspended, two-pump motor system dramatically reduces vibration and noise.
Two-pump motor system
By using two small pumps to individu-
ally wash and drain instead of a single
large one, vibration and noise are dra-
matically reduced. Smaller parts and a
more contained motion contribute to our
unparalleled sound reduction system.
Suspension motor
We've suspended our two-pump motor
system using rubber hammocks to help
absorb and minimize any vibration and
noise, quieting your kitchen.
Note: Features may vary by model. * Based on available sound information in on competitors' websites, July 2009.
**Based on standard-size dishwashers, according to ENERGY STAR®.

Solid molded base
Solid construction and enhanced
insulation reduce vibration and add to
overall noise reduction.
Ultra-quiet drain pump
The new brushless direct current
(BLDC) design softens water noise
and eliminates draining sounds.
Plus, a new dispenser location and
optimized hydraulics combined with
our famous suspension motor and
two-pump motor system make
Bosch dishwashers more quiet
than ever before.
Quietest brand
Noise is measured in decibels (dBA).
A whisper is about 30 dBA and a
normal conversation is about 60 dBA.
As the quietest dishwashers in the
U.S.,* Bosch has a silence rating as
low as 40 dBA, equivalent to a library.
InfoLight®
Sometimes your dishwasher
InfoLight
might be so quiet, you won't
know it's on. That's why there's
InfoLight, a small red light projected
onto the fl oor to indicate that your
dishwasher is still in one of its cycles.
