Push to Talk (PTT) Calls

Push to Talk (PTT) lets you talk walkie-talkie style with other PTT
subscribers. You can talk to one person or a group.
PTT and the other features indicated are network and
subscription dependent features, and are not available in
all areas. PTT connectivity requires PTT-compatible
phones.
Tip: To prevent accidental PTT calls, you can lock your PTT key and
keypad. To lock or unlock the keypad, press M * in your home
screen. If you do not press the PTT key within a minute of unlocking
it, it re-locks.
To make a PTT call:
• Enter a PTT subscriber's phone number with the keypad. Then
hold the PTT key and speak after the tone. For call details, see
page 61.
