Note: The factory default for the input mode is ABC Input
(ABCD). However, you can set the default yourself. See
"Input Mode (8-5)" on page 92. The default input mode you
set appears automatically with the editor screen.

Smart Input (iTAP)
The Smart Input system (or iTAP, as shown on the editor
screen) analyzes letters as they are being typed to come
up with the right words, making text entry quick and easy.
Smart Input (iTAP) is an efficient alternative to the
traditional multi-tapping input, which requires you to press
a key several times for an appropriate letter.
