Power Sources
This unit operates on the following power sources:
Two size AA(LR6)
dry cell batteries
Household current with the supplied AC adaptor
Twosize
AA rechargeable
batteries which are
commercially
available.
On placement
Avoid placing the unit in the following places,
Under direct sunlight or neara source of heat such
as a heater. Never leave the unit in a closed
automobile, or on the dashboard or parcel shelf.
Excess heat may deform the cabinet or cause
malfunctioning.
Where it isverydusty
or sandy.
In wet or humid areas, such as a bathroom.
Near sources of strong magnetism, such as
televisions, speakers, or magnets.
Where there is a lot of movement or vibration, such
as on a car dashboard or an unstable shelf.
To maintain
good performance
Do not open the battery compartment
with wet
hands.
Wipe the unit throughly before inserting batteries,
Do not soak the unit in water.
Note
kVipe the unit throughly after use.
