BID Engage calibration is performed, via Main Menu > Ink and BID > BID > Full BID Engage.
NOTE:
The overlap prevention parameters will not be saved if a job is removed from the press, or the
press is shut down.
Enabling double-hit printing on press for HP Indigo ElectroInk
Silver
Follow these steps to enable double-hit printing for HP Indigo ElectroInk Silver.
For jobs that require higher opacities of HP Indigo ElectroInk Silver, you can increase the number of
Silver separations.
NOTE:
It is recommended to use HP Indigo ElectroInk Silver with 2 hits in order to reach the OD
(optical density) targets. This can be done from the pre-press (DFE).
