Introduction
If you follow these operating
instructions you will quickly learn how
to adjust and operate all the functions
of your new TV; but always read and
perform the instructions in the
sequence shown.
[v] - Indicates actions that are
performed using the TV buttons or
Sockets.
- Indicates actions that are
performed using the remote control
handset.
Installing the TV
[rv] To install the TV
OCON e Remove any packaging from the TV.
e Find the remote control handset and
indoor aerial (if supplied) within the
packaging.
e Place the TV on a solid base (e.g. a
TV/video cabinet).
oo] € Leave atleast 3 cm around each side
of the TV for ventilation.
note: On the bottom of certain TV
models are tilting feet which you can
use to position the TV.

[rv] To connect the TV
IMPORTANT: The TV is only suitable for
a mains voltage of 220/240 V ~ , 50 Hz
(Consult your dealer if the mains supply
is different).
e Connect the TV to the mains supply
socket.
e Connect the aerial plug to the IT
socket located at the back of the TV.
e if detachable loudspeakers are
supplied then position the
loudspeakers appropriately and
connect each loudspeaker plug; one to
the Left 'FRONT' socket and one to the
Right 'FRONT' socket (these 'FRONT'
sockets can be found at the back of the
TV).
e Make sure that all cables connected
to the TV are positioned safely.

[rv] To switch the TV on
e Press the (1) power button located
on the front of the TV.
e If the GREEN colour is displayed on
the lamp located below the screen then
the TV is switched on.
e If the RED colour is displayed on the
lamp located below the screen then
you must press the <P or > P program
button. The TV will then switch on and
the GREEN colour will be displayed on
the lamp (for further information refer
to the section 'to select stand-by
mode').

[rv] To switch the TV off
e Press the () power button located
on the front of the TV.
(if you want to switch off the TV
temporarily refer to the section 'to
select stand-by mode".)
To insert batteries in the remote
control handset
e Remove the battery cover located on
the back of the remote control handset.
e insert the two batteries supplied
(type LROS 1.5V).
j € Replace the battery cover.
