Make
sure that
the
equipment
fed by the camera
terminates
the feed cable in 75 ohms.
Step 2. Set the selector switch to VIDEO.
Follow Steps 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 in the previous

1-5. CONNECTIONS
Figure 1-1 shows sync input and video output signals
at the 6-pin VTR connector
when
the camera is used
in the VTR mode. (Sync signals appear only when the
motor in the VTR
is running).
1-6. VIEWFINDER CVF-4
To connect
the Viewfinder,
first remove
the rectangu-
lar plastic cap that covers
the viewfinder connector
on the top surface of the camera. Place the Viewfinder
atop the camera
so that the two studs at the rear of
the camera enter the large holes in the mounting slots
on the bottom of the Viewfinder. Slide the Viewfinder
towards
the rear of the camera
so that the studs en-
gage
the slots.
Position
the male
connector
on the
bottom
of the Viewfinder
over the receptacle
on the
top of the camera and push down gently until the con-
nector is seated. Pushthe mounting screw down
and
tighten using a coin or screwdriver.
Note.
All electrical
connections
between
the View-
finder
and the camera
are completed
at the mating
connectors. The raster on the Viewfinder will appear
immediately when the camera
is turned on. The pic-
ture
appears
a few seconds
later when
the vidicon
warms
up. Contrast and brightness controls atop the
CVF-4 affect the Viewfinder picture only, and do not
affect the video output of the camera.
