Determine the correct mounting bracket orientation for your outlet. Ensure that the slots of the mounting bracket are in alignment with the gold colored mounting points on your Smart Splitter. Unscrew the corresponding screws from the faceplate, then screw in the bracket using the bracket screws (2x) so the mounting bracket is flush with the faceplate.
