5.4 Test Your Internet Connection

Launch your web browser and navigate to www.zyxel.com. Internet access is just the

beginning. Refer to the User's Guide for more detailed information on the complete

range of Prestige features. If you cannot access the Internet, open the web configurator

again to confirm that the Internet settings you configured in the Wizard Setup are

correct.

The web configurator's Media Bandwidth Magnt. screens under Wizard Setup allows

you to specify bandwidth classes based on an application (or service). You can allocate

specific amounts of bandwidth capacity (bandwidth budgets) to different bandwidth

classes.

The Prestige applies bandwidth management to traffic that it forwards out through an

interface. The Prestige does not control the bandwidth of traffic that comes into an

interface.

Bandwidth management applies to all traffic flowing out of the Prestige through the

interface, regardless of the traffic's source.

Traffic redirect or IP alias may cause LAN-to-LAN traffic to pass through the Prestige

and be managed by bandwidth management.
