PROgRaMMINg yOUR ESPRESSO MaCHINE The Cuisinart has programming capabilities. Based on café settings, the espresso functions are set at 1.5 and 3.0 oz. However, by following a few simple steps, you can pre-program your perfect serving size down to the ounce. -

(40). CLEaNINg aNd MaINTENaNCE Always turn the espresso maker off and remove the plug from the electrical outlet before cleaning. Never immerse unit in water or other liquid. To clean, simply wipe with a clean damp cloth and dry before storing. - Page 10 CLEaNINg THE gRaTE ON THE dRIP TRay • T he grate should be removed, emptied and cleaned frequently, particularly when the drip tray is full. • The grate can be washed in warm soapy water and rinsed thoroughly. Use a non-abrasive washing liquid (do not use abrasive cleaners, pads or cloths which can scratch the surface).
