FRONT HANDLE and HAND GUARD INSTALLATION
ECHO CHAIN SAW MODEL C&500VL
Insert the front hancfle before mstatling the guide bar arnl chain as follows.
1. Install HAND OUARD IB) to FRONT
HANDLE (A).
See Fig. 1.
2. Install INSERT IC| into FRONT
HANDLE (A).
Install FRONT HANDLE (A) and HAND
GUARD STOPPER <E) to FRONT HAN¬
DLE SUPPORTER ID) with SCREW <F).
Tighten SCREW (PI with tingsn and con¬
firm SCREW IF) is lining internal thraad
of FRONT HANDLE SUPPORTER (Dl
first, and tighten SCREW (F) with
WRENCH (G). Saa Fig. 2.
3. En^ge HAND GUARD HOLDER (H)
with INSERT (C) and tightan SCREW (K).
See Fig. 3.

Install the INSERT ID in HANDLE fA)
as illustrated.

5. Place pra-aasambled front handle to the
iTiountt.
Tighten four SCREWS (M) with finger
and confirm all four screw are Acting in
the inttmd thrtotk Of cvting. Tighen
four SCREWS (Mf evenly with WRENCH
